[Chromebox] Can I use a generic HDMI to VGA converter to connect a VGA display to an AOPEN Chromebox Commercial?

Although there are many passive converters on the market, these devices require a special HDMI chipset that supports analog output. You will need a special active chipset to rebroadcast the signal because HDMI is digital and VGA is analog. Please take note that VGA does not support audio.
